Compass CHT-FLR program celebrated the International Day of Forests 2022

Compass Chittagong Hill Tracts Forest Landscape Restoration (CHT-FLR) project organized a street drama at Rowangchhari Bazar, Bandarban on March 21, 2022, to celebrate the International Day of Forests. 

To raise awareness regarding forest conservation among the local community the drama was performed in the local Marma language. The audience realized the reasons behind the lack of water in the streams, forest degradation, and the impact of it on their lives through this drama. They also developed knowledge regarding forest conservation and natural resource management.

More than seventy (70) people attended the event including the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Vice Chairman, and Union Parishad Chairman of Rowangchhari Upazila, Bandarban.
